- What is BRIGHT MOMENTS TOKYO?
- A six day celebration of generative, AI, and Japanese contemporary art in the heart of Tokyo from May 5th to May 10th. There will be minting of 4,000+ on-chain generative artworks at two Shibuya locations, artist sessions & panels, special workshops taught by Matt Deslauriers, and a final celebration ‘Emergence’ at one of Tokyo’s hottest nightclubs.

- Wednesday, May 5th through Friday, May 10th
- CryptoTokyoite, AI Collection, and Japanese Contemporary minting & exhibition May 5th through 8th (5:00-9:00pm)
- Tokyo Collection minting May 6th through 8th, with public exhibition May 9th & 10th.

- What do I need to attend?
- Digital Garage will be open for public viewing each night from 5-9pm, and minting experiences themselves will only be open to Mint Pass holders (Tokyo Collection, AI Collection, or Japanese Contemporary Collection)
- Kyu Asakura House will only be open to those minting the Tokyo Collection May 6th-8th. Then will open to the public May 9th-10th from 10am-4pm
- What is a Golden Token Tokyo?
- A GTTK is an NFT that gives you the ability to mint a CryptoTokyoite IRL at the event, as we as access to one private Bright Moments dinner during the event. (in order to receive this formal invite you must register for minting on the portal with the wallet holding the GTTK).
- I have a community nomination to mint a CryptoTokyoite is this a GTTK?
- No, unless you have completed the nomination form on the card, and successfully scheduled your CryptoTokyoite minting appointment through the Bright Moments portal. (non-transferable minting appointment)
- Once you have completed these steps, you will receive a QR code that gives you the ability to mint a CryptoTokyoite.
- What is a Tokyo Collection Mint Pass?
- An MPTK is an NFT that gives you the ability to mint one of the Tokyo Collection artists at the event.
- There are eleven different MPMX’s, one corresponding to each artist.
- What is a AI Collection Mint Pass?
- An MPAI is an NFT that gives you the ability to mint one of the AI Collection artists at the event.
- There are eleven different MPMX’s, one corresponding to each artist.
- How do I mint the Japanese Contemporary Collection?
- We will open minting for Japanese Contemporary artists during Bright Moments Tokyo, beginning on May 5th on app.brightmoments.io. More details to come
- Three artists from the collection have Mint Pass sales prior, due to the attachment of a physical object/experience.
- A.A. Murakami ‘Metabolic Metropolis’ experience & generative piece: Mint Passes currently available for 0.1 ETH on the Bright Moments Portal.
- AMBUSH is releasing a t-shirt collaboration with CryptoCitizens artist QianQian. Mint Passes will give you one of the 100 t-shirts dropping in Tokyo. More details soon.
- ykxotkx is doing a generative collection with Suntory whisky, which will be a generative NFT paired with a unique and exclusive experience at Bright Moments Tokyo. More details soon.
- Do I have to attend both artist talks & minting events?
- No, you can attend as much or as little as you would like.
- Can I come for more than one day of the event
- Yes, you may come to Digital Garage as much as you like during event days. Asakura house is more limited to only the days that you are minting outside of the public exhibition days.
Artist Sessions + Workshops at Digital Garage
- Are the artist sessions & workshops different from minting?
- Yes, the artist sessions & workshops will be at Digital Garage on May 9th and 10th. Minting takes place at Digital Garage May 5th through 8th.
- What do I need to access the workshops?
- Artist panels will have a capacity of 100 on a first come first serve basis with priority seating for Session access will be given to Golden Token Tokyo and Mint Pass holders.
- Matt Deslauriers workshops will have very limited seating. ‘Generative Color’ is limited to only those with coding experience with priority for those who hold a Golden Token Tokyo, or a Mint Pass and have scheduled minting appointments. ‘Analog Drawing’ will not require coding experience, and will have more seats, but still with priority for Golden Token Tokyo and Mint Pass holders.

- Do I need to attend workshops in order to mint?
